Taco feast anyone? Or Mexican happy hour? If so, you are going to need some yummy sides to serve with chips or as condiments. Here are three of my favorite Mexican salsas and dips: perfect pico de gallo, our Dining Alfresco “house” guacamole, and a quick avocado and tomatillo salsa. They are each packed with fresh herbs, veggies, and lime juice. All are excellent served with tortilla chips, raw veggies, or for topping your favorite Mexican entrees! You can find more on each recipe below along with all the links!

Perfect Pico De Gallo

I really love Pico de Gallo. I call this my “perfect” Pico de Gallo because I think it has a perfect balance of my favorite summer ingredients and flavors – fresh tomato, bright and zesty lime, cilantro from the garden, and spicy serranos. Plus it’s also one of the lightest choices when it comes to my favorite summer dips, salsas, and spreads. Serve it with sliced cucumbers and your other favorite veggies for the healthiest option. But it’s also great with tortilla chips or on just about any taco. It also pairs well with guacamole! You can find my recipe here with tips for making really good pico!

Dining Alfresco House Guacamole

A Mexican classic and summertime staple. Who doesn’t love guacamole? I consider this my go-to “house” guacamole because I whip it up all the time. Fresh, bright, and zesty. It goes quickly so make a double batch if you have a big crowd. Check out the recipe for my pointers on how to make really good gauc!

Quick Avocado and Tomatillo Salsa

This one requires getting the food processor out but the upside is you don’t have to chop anything. Just toss everything in, pulse a few times, and then blend to your desired consistency. Eat with tortilla chips or raw veggies. It’s also great on chicken tacos – or just about any kind of taco. Enjoy! Get the recipe here.
