I’m a long-time foodie and amateur chef who cares just as much about the dining experience as the food I put on the table. As life grows more chaotic, I find it increasingly important to come home at the end of the day and unwind over an enjoyable meal. Taking a few extra minutes to put out some nice place settings and light a few candles is well worth it in my opinion. I especially love when we can move our dinners outside and enjoy the ambiance created by the open air. Dining alfresco has become a major highlight of our summer evenings – spring and fall evenings too!
I focus on preparing healthy wholesome meals with a simple elegance. I like my dishes to impress without requiring a ton of time or getting every dish in the kitchen dirty. On weeknights, I prepare meals that come together in less than an hour. You can find these on the home page under “Weeknight Gourmet.”On the weekends I take on more extravagant cooking projects. These dishes usually require a little more active cooking time or time in general (think slow-braised stews or ragus). You will find these recipes under “A little More Time.”
Cheers,
Sarah
